Join us in our mission to enhance education and environmental awareness by celebrating Earth, our common home, and committing to its protection and preservation at our annual Earth Day Festival on Sunday, April 21, from 3 to 6 pm.

In the spirit of collaboration with regional leaders in advancing environmental efforts, we are inviting mayors from Fayetteville, Springdale, and Bentonville to kick off the event at 3:20 pm with messages on how we can work together to enact meaningful change.

This outdoor, family-friendly event features interactive activities, educational & environmental booths, live music, food trucks & treats, and the opportunity to enjoy spring in the Garden. Guests can participate in activities at community partner booths, like learning how to recycle & compost, leave no trace, make sun prints, and more. The City of Fayetteville will give away free trees and shrubs while supplies last.

Guests are welcome to bring a picnic or grab a snack from Rockin’ Rackley’s BBQ and Wholesome Smoothies. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and reusable bottles to fill at the Beaver Water District water trailer.

Enjoy live music by Candy Lee and the Backyard Bugs starting at 3 pm. March to August will perform on the Great Lawn from 4 to 6 pm and Still on the Hill will provide music inside the Event Hall from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 4-17, and free for kids ages 3 & under. BGO members enjoy free admission to the event! Tickets are available for purchase at bgozarks.org/events or at the gate.

New this year, those who ride their bikes to the event will receive free entry as a token of appreciation for their commitment to reducing pollution! With assistance from the local National Interscholastic Cycling Association, the Garden is offering complimentary bike valet, as well.
