Scarecrow Showdown is a community art installation during the month of October at BGO. Community members and businesses are invited to register and create a scarecrow to be displayed in the Garden. This year's Scarecrow Showdown will debut as a part of Autumn Harvest - BGO’s signature fall fundraiser. Scarecrows will remain on display throughout the Garden through Oct. 31.

Nonprofit organizations may register for the "Amateur" Rate of $30

This year, the Scarecrow Showdown will be a standout feature of BGO’s Autumn Harvest event on Sunday,
October 6, 2024. The scarecrows will be on display in the Garden until November 1.

Key Dates & Details

• Register by September 21.
• Create and install your scarecrow in the Garden from October 2-4
• Purchase your Autumn Harvest tickets for the Scarecrow Showdown
• Tend to your scarecrow with 4 provided daily passes
• Share on social media and tag us
• Encourage visits and votes from Friends and Family
• Pick up your scarecrow from November 1-3
